What Is A Thermal Printer
Oct 26, 2017

Thermal printers work by installing semiconductor heating elements on the printhead, and the printhead can print out the required pattern after heating and touching the thermal paper, which is similar in principle to a thermal fax machine. The image is generated by heating and producing a chemical reaction in the membrane. The chemical reaction of this thermal printer is carried out at a certain temperature. High temperatures speed up this chemical reaction. When the temperature is below 60 ℃, it takes a long, if not several years, for the paper to turn dark, and when the temperature is 200 ℃, the reaction is completed in a matter of microseconds.
