The key to thermal printing technology is the heating element, the thermal printer core has a row of tiny semiconductor components, these components are very dense, ranging from 200dpi to 600dpi, these components in a certain current will quickly produce high temperature, when the thermal paper coating encountered these components, in a very short period of time the temperature will rise.
The coating on the heat-sensitive paper will undergo a chemical reaction, showing color. After the thermal printer receives the printed data, it converts the printed data to bitmap data, and then controls the heating element on the printer core through the current at the point of the bitmap data, thus turning the printed data into printed content on the paper.
